50 years ago, Dodge introduced a competitive, sporty, mid-size car into the market. In celebration of Chargers 50th Anniversary, the design team at Auto World wanted to bring the biggest present to the party... So, we stuffed this Charger replica with a 426 cu. in., 425hp, HEMI engine and fitted it to a 4-speed manual transmission. Now that’s what we call a complete package! The 1966 Charger featured several unique features including a large rear window, front bucket seats, and a full-length center console that extended rearward to a pair of fold-down rear buckets. With the trunk’s security panel also folded flat, extended access to the trunk and utility area could stow a surfboard, skis or other “party favors”.
