Comments: A couple of months ago, I purchased my second 'fifth generation' Mustang, a 2006 GT in Screaming Yellow (my last was a 2005 Mustang in Screaming Yellow). I already had a smaller scale, inexpensive Kinsmart die-cast model 2006 Mustang in yellow I had picked up at a drug store years ago, but was pleased to some across your 1/24 scale Welly 2005 Mustang in yellow, while searching for 'full-scale' parts and accessories for my new-to-me car. The 14.95 price was very reasonable, and the USPS priority shipping only tacked another $7 or so to the total price. The model was advertised as "loose" (meaning, not in box) so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. When it arrived, the shipping box had been damaged and torn at the end, but the car was perfectly protected by bubble wrap and by the remnants of its original packing the plastic clamshell casing halves. It is in mint condition, and the larger scale allows for features like an opening hood and the correct 4.6 liter engine, as well as better wheel details and other minor bits like the black carbon fiber side mirrors. I'm quite happy that I now can display a virtually perfect scale replica of my personal vehicle in my home. I only own a handful of die cast model cars I've accumulated here and there over the years, but if i'm in the market for another, I'll check in with you guys first.
